ICELANDIC SEA SALT

Our natural mineral dense sea salt is produced utilizing energy from geothermal hot springs in Iceland and filtered in our production facility — for maximum purity free of micro plastics and heavy metals. This salt contains the highest magnesium of any other salt. We consider it to be the highest quality salt in the world.

It is the only sea salt being harvested that utilizes complete geothermal energy through the entire process. It is a one hundred percent green and sustainable operation, which is quite rare to see in our modern world. 

The Westfjords of Iceland is one of the most remote regions in the world and some of the cleanest sea water.

The Danish king established salt production in the 18th century using geothermal energy to produce salt. The production stopped a few decades later and the tradition of saltmaking in Iceland came to an end. Now it has been revived and artisans are bringing the old methods of salt production back into modern society.
